John 20:19-21

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

Reflect

When Jesus appeared to His disciples after the resurrection, His first words were: "Peace be with you." They had been hiding in fear, uncertain of what would happen next. But Jesus brought them peace—not just the absence of trouble, but the deep assurance that He was with them. In a world full of stress, fear, and uncertainty, Jesus offers us the same peace today.
Action Step:
Identify one source of anxiety in your life and surrender it to God. Write it down, pray over it, and then take a tangible step toward trusting Him—whether that means seeking reconciliation, letting go of control, or speaking words of peace into a tense situation.
